VOLCANO CHOIR RELEASES NEW SINGLE
Volcano Choir has emerged from a four-year slumber since their debut album, and their new single is a successful grand entrance back into the world of indie rock. Bon Iver-famed Justin Vernon’s partnership with Collections of Colonies of Bees is set to release Repave in September, their second collaboration under the name Volcano Choir. In the meantime, the band has tossed out an album teaser and a single in the whirring ballad “Byegone.” Give it a listen here.

OKKERVIL RIVER LYRIC VIDEO
Bringing a two-year wait to a close, Texas folksters Okkervil River are releasing their seventh album, The Silver Gymnasium. The album, which, according to frontman Will Sheff, "takes place in 1986 in a small town in New Hampshire," weaves through sepia-toned, guitar-rooted backdrops of Middle America.
