Joe Cassidy was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and within his lifetime, made music in Manchester, London, Chicago and Los Angeles as a creator and member of Butterfly Child, Assassins, and Noise. As a manager and musician, Joe supported a broad array of artists, including Jimmy Webb, Ashley Campbell, Ree-Vo and countless others.
On August 28, band members, friends, fellow artists and fans will gather for a night of a joyful performance of music that Joe created and the songs that he loved. “Hear in Heaven” will be the show that Joe Cassidy himself would have curated from above, including an “all-star” band of Chicago musicians who will end the night with expert – and hilarious – covers of songs everyone will (or should) know.
