Bishop Briggs (Sarah McLaughlin) is an electrifying singer-songwriter known for her powerful voice and genre-blending sound. Bishop gained prominence when she released her second-ever single, “River,” and scored multi-platinum sales, boasting over 800 million streams. She christened herself after her parents’ hometown of Bishopbriggs, Scotland.

Her 2016 debut EP featured tracks like “Wild Horses” and “The Fire,” while her 2020 album “Champion” debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes Alternative Chart. Bishop wrote the theme song for Netflix’s “Devil in Ohio,” the number one show on the platform, and won the latest season of “The Masked Singer.”

Earlier this year, Bishop released an epic survivor’s anthem “Triumph.”  Her upcoming third studio album, Tell My Therapist I’m Fine (Releasing October 18), drawing immense buzz, delves much more deeply into the highs, lows, and confusions she’s faced over a rocky past few years, its title’s darkly comic disclaimer riffing on the introspection and roiling emotions that power the new collection of unstoppable powerful, angst-filled pop — heralded by the first track “Mona Lisa on A Mattress,” a gleeful, acerbic postcard from a truly bad romance.
