Nicholas Tremulis & The Prodigals
with DJ Joe Shanahan & Special Guests
$45-$75 Adv. / 18 & Over / Doors: 7pm / Show: 8pm
Nicholas’s 65th Birthday Celebration, Benefiting the Collaboraction Youth Music Program – a Chicago-based theater and multimedia company that harnesses the power of art through live and virtual performance to ignite social change, foster healing, and amplify underrepresented voices.
Join us for the triumphant return of Chicago icon Nicholas Tremulis to the Metro stage for his 65th birthday extravaganza. “I’ve decided to come home for my birthday,” says Nick, who is closing in on his 100th show at Metro.
“Playing the Metro has been a rite of passage for many artists over the years. It’s only fitting that my own rite of passage should be to return to the stage where I played my first-ever gig as Nicholas Tremulis.”
Joining him on stage will be his 15-piece band, known as the Prodigals — “maybe the best band of Chicago musicians ever assembled.”
This seated event will showcase music, theater, and video, featuring songs from Nicholas’s past, present, and future–including some special guests yet to be announced.
The Emmy Award-winning theater and multimedia company Collaboraction will provide production design for the show, with proceeds supporting the company’s youth music program.
